Shooting Range - FAQs

On this page you will find some of the more commonly asked questions about our shooting range. If you have additional questions, please contact us and we'll be happy to help you.

1. When is the range open?

Weekdays: 10am - 5pm
Saturday: 9am - 5pm
Sundays: 10am - 5pm

2. How much does it cost?

$15/hour per person (no half hour pricing)

3. How do I know if I qualify to shoot at the range?
  • You have a prior Military/Police background
  • A Hunter Safety course has been completed
  • A Mentor that has been to the Top Gun Range and shot before
  • Having completed a basic firearms training course
4. How old do I have to be to shoot at the range?

If under the age of 18, Both Parents must sign our waiver form online. (Exceptions are that you are the only Parent/Guardian) You must also be accompanied by a Parent or Guardian while shooting in the range, and be able to shoot over the bench without a stool.

5. Can I use aluminum casing amunition?

No aluminum casing is allowed at Top Gun. You may only use brass and steel case ammunition.

There will only be one warning for the offense.

6. Can you pick up your own brass?

If you want to pick up brass directly under your feet in your booth, this is acceptable. However it is unacceptable to pick through casings on the floor or brass in buckets.

7. Can you use Muzzle loaders or shotguns?

No, you can not use Muzzle loaders on the range for any reason. Shotguns are also not allowed inside the range.
